Button front dress + vans + basket bag.
When you find something that is flattering on a lot of body types, telling the whole world it is absolutely necessary, right? Spring is officially here which couldn’t be better for trying out this outfit combination (assuming it gets warmer here in Kentucky).
Let me break down this outfit for you..
First is the ability of this dress style to create a V shape at the neckline which slims the waist. I am totally a pear shape so this works great for me!
Second is the basket bag. Need I say more? I am way too obsessed with them during Spring and Summer. Read more on my previous post.
Third is the shoes. Though this would look glam and dressy with a pair of heeled mules, I loved how the Vans dressed them down. The platform Vans also give me an extra two inches putting me at a whopping height of 5′ 2″!
Can it get any better than this? My three favorite items of the moment paired together to get a chic-but-casual look that is totally French approved.
